The Dutch title is almost wrapped up and Barça are sniffing around

Ajax have virtually won the Eredivisie after beating Utrecht at home, while their closes challenger, PSV Eindhoven, lost to AZ Alkmaar.

With three points more than their nearest rivals and a superior goal difference by 14, with just one game to go the title looks to be theirs.

Erik Ten Hag's side will add the league title to their Dutch cup triumph to win a domestic double, while they came up short in the Champions Legaue, losing in the semifinal.

With everything now wrapped up, things could speed up off the pitch. Not only will Frenkie de Jong live his final days at the club before joining Barcelona, but Matthijs de Ligt must also finalise his football.

Things have been on hold with so much at play, but Barça president Josep Maria Bartomeu has already hinted he knows how things will end up.

De Ligt's agent Mino Raiola is banned from his profession for three months so can't disrupt the deal further and Barça are in pole position. News should be coming soon.
