Former Ajax captain Siem De Jong thinks De Ligt should head to the Catalan capital
Former Ajax captain Siem De Jong, has advised young Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt to sign for FC Barcelona.
"I've heard a lot of stories about clubs that want to buy him," De Jong, currently on loan at Sydney FC told Jnisport.
"I understand (what it's like). He's a young boy but very physically strong. He's got a good head and he's a good lad and good for the team.
"I'm not sure where he'll go, he has various options, it will probably be a big club. One of my favourites is Barcelona, I wouldn't mind seeing him there!"
