The forward spoke to 'L'Esportiu' about the Blaugrana's interest

A few days ago, at the end of 2019, SPORT revealed that FC Barcelona had presented a formal offer to Dinamo Zagreb for Spain international Dani Olmo.

The Catalan attacker, who spent six years at La Masia before moving to Croatia, has emerged as a target for Barça -- be that in January or next summer.

Olmo, in an interview with L'Esportiu, has more or less confirmed the offer: "The rumours about a concrete offer make me happy, as does the possibility of Barça wanting to take me home. I spent six years there and they taught me values for a lifetime."

Many clubs across Europe are keen on Olmo. Zagreb have also received an offer from German side Borussia Mönchengladbach.

He added: "My objective is to go to the Euros with Spain. And that will be more difficult if, for the next six months, I am playing in a smaller competition, like in Croatia.

"I want to take a step forward. And not just to go to the Euros, but to keep on improving. It's not that I am offering myself, it's that I think I am ready to take the next step in my career."
