Dani Alves undergoes Barça medical: I'm always full of surprises

Dani Alves underwent his Barcelona medical at a hospital in the city on Monday. The Brazil right-back, who will train with his new teammates later in the day, was subjected to the normal medical check-up before a contract is officially signed. 

Arriving at the hospital, various members of the media were already waiting for the new Barca player, who returns after over five years away from Camp Nou. 

"You missed me, hey?" Alves joked with the journalists, adding before he entered the hospital: "I am always full of surprises." 

Barça have not yet communicated when Alves will be officially presented, although it's likely to be on Tuesday or Wednesday. He will sign an initial deal until June 30 2022 with the option for an additional year. 

Remember, he cannot be officially registered to play until January, so will only train with the team until then.
