The Brazilian will make his second debut in the Copa del Rey game

Dani Alves has been registered with LaLiga and will be able to make his second Barcelona debut against Linares Deportivo in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday.

Alves had been named in the squad pending his registration being completed, with the process finalised and made official on Wednesday morning.

"Barça have received all the necessary approval to inscribe Dani Alves," the club confirmed. "The player is available to face Linares."

In theory, Alves will make his second debut for the club after re-signing at the age of 38 in November. He featured in the friendly vs. Boca Juniors in December.

Remember that Barça had to wait until the January window to register Alves despite signing him two months ago. He has been training with the club in that time.

With Alves inscribed, Barça will now focus all their efforts on making sure they can register their other new signing, Ferran Torres, by making room on their wage bill.
