Dani Alves was a protagonist in the clash between Barcelona and Juventus on Wednesday night. He was one of the players that consoled Neymar at the end of the game when the Brazilian was in tears after Barcelona were eliminated.
Alves spoke to the media after the game and had nice words for Neymar and his former Barcelona team-mates.
“I told him that things go like this. I didn’t want to face Barcelona because we lived together and now we live separately,” he said. “It’s very sad to see my friends from Barcelona sad because of the elimination.”
He published a photo on instagram of himself with the Barcelona No 11 and added the message “I love you brother”.
