The defender has still not forgotten why he felt compelled to leave Barça

Dani Alves has never left anyone indifferent. This time, the Brazilian has responded to questions on his Instagram account and didn't hold back when speaking about his exit from Barcelona and the former president Josep Maria Bartomeu.

One of the questions Alves was asked was: "What made you leave Barça?"

He responded: "I didn't believe in the board and what they were doing at that moment. I have since been proved right. As I was the first person to say it, they called me crazy, but, as always, I'm good crazy."

Alves also spoke about Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo: "Despite the greatness of them both, an image is worth more than a thousand words," he wrote alongside an image of him hugging Messi.

The Brazilian, now playing for Sao Paulo, also said that Xavi's the most intelligent player he's played with, Neymar's the most skillful player in the world and that he's incapable of choosing between Sevilla and Barça because it's like picking "mum or dad."
