Danger for Barça: PSG to meet again with Ajax over De Jong

The French club want to seal an agreement this week

Antero Henrique and Maxwell, the two men in charge of Paris Saint-Germain's transfer strategy, plan to travel to Amsterdam again next week to close the signing of Frenkie de Jong. 

The PSG duo were in Holland on Friday to try and push the move for the Ajax midfielder after Barcelona had met with him and his agentss on Thursday. 

A delegation from Barça, including president Josep Maria Bartomeu, tried to persuade De Jong why Camp Nou would be a better home for him. 

PSG didn't take long to react and on Friday were in Amsterdam, according to Parisunited, at the Hotel Amstel with Ali Dursun, Hasan Cetinkaya and Kenan Hasan, agents with HCM Sports who represent De Jong.

In these talks, PSG reportedly agreed to include in the operation another player from the agency to accompany De Jong in Paris. The name of the player's not been revealed. 

After this meeting in which PSG sturck a deal with De Jong's people, the French club intensified talks with Ajax. 

Negotiations are ongoing over the phone and via email but Henrique and Maxwell plan to travel to Amsterdam this week to make everything official, according to Parisunited. 

They will meet with Marc Overmars (sporting director) and Edwin van der Sar (marketing director) to close the operation.
