The English club is not interested in the add-ons Barça have offered

For the moment Liverpool have rejected the latest €130 million bid

Philippe Coutinho’s transfer to FC Barcelona has turned into another saga. Twelve days before the transfer window shuts, Barça are trying to push things forward but Liverpool so far are refusing to sell the player.

Barça have made three offers: the last one of €120 million up front and €10 million in add-ons. All have been rejected by Liverpool. According to The Daily Mirror, this is because of the add-ons Barça want to include in the fee. According to The Daily Mirror, these are: Barça have to win more than one trophy per season, win more than one Champions League during the player’s first contract and that the Brazilian wins the Ballon d’Or. Liverpool on the other hand want straight cash so they can sign a replacement.

According to the British press, this is the current situation. Coutinho is still keen on the move and handed in a transfer request last week. But whether that is enough, only time will tell.
