The winger could join as a free agent to replace Memphis Depay

If there is an area where Barcelona are well covered, it is in attack. The effort made on signings in the summer, coupled with Ousmane Dembele's renewal, has left them with two players in each forward position, but the club are still contemplating signing again to cover the departure of Memphis Depay, who is out of contract in the summer. That is where players whose contract are expiring on June 30 come into the picture.

In England, a few days ago the possibility of bringing in Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha emerged. The Ivory Coast winger is out of contract in six months and his plans are to take the next step in his career.

Barça have been offered Zaha, who used to play for Manchester United and would like to try his luck in Spain. And there are no doubts that he is a player with goals. Last season, he scored 14 goals in 31 games in one of the smaller Premier League sides and has scored six in 12 this term.

He can play across the attack and, if it's an affordable option, Barça would seriously consider the deal. Zaha has been observed in the past but his fee has always been prohibitive. Now he is soon to be a free agent.
