Cristiano Ronaldo on "almost impossible" win and Messi relationship
"I have never seen Messi as a rival, that's the press," the Juve man said
Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated Juventus' 3-0 win over Barcelona which saw them pinch top spot in the Champions League group as "almost Mission Impossible."
"The key was starting well, being 2-0 up after 20 mins, and from there we are thinking anything is possible and it was," the ex-Real Madrid striker said.
"I think it could be an injection of confidence. We needed a win like this against a big team, like Barcelona -- they may be in a bad moment but they will always be Barça."
On the penalty he won for a foul by Ronald Araujo, he said "I have not seen the replay, but that's football. Sometimes there are inexistent penalties, sometimes the opposite.
"I don't get involved, referees have a tough job. But when you score three goals at Camp Nou, I don't think there are doubts about who deserves to go through top of the group."

On Lionel Messi, Ronaldo said he has a "cordial relationship" with the Argentine. "It's been 12 or 13 years sharing prizes with him and I never saw him as a rival, that's the press.
"I always got on well with him. I am sure he will say the same if you ask him. But we know in football people always look for a rivalry to create more excitement."
On Messi's mood, with Barça struggling, Ronaldo said: "He's the same as ever (on the pitch). Barcelona are in a difficult moment but I am sure they will come out of it, all teams have bad runs."
