Barcelona's record signing Philippe Coutinho took advantage of his day off this week to return to Liverpool with his partner and his daughter to say goodbye to his former teammates and fans.
It was a flying visit, not least because on Tuesday night Liverpool were in action in the Premier League, winning 3-0 against Huddersfield Town.
In the images posted on social media, Coutinho was seen with Adam Lallana and Alberto Moreno, two of the players he spent many hours with while he was playing at Anfield.
"How good to see you again, brother. Thanks to the visit. Lots of luck," wrote Moreno on Instagram.
Meanwhile, England midfielder Lallana added: "Back to say his farewells... a class act this little genius."
