The Brazilian forward won't play against Real Betis this week or go on international duty with Brazil

Philippe Coutinho will join Lionel Messi on the treatment table ahead of Barcelona's match against Real Betis on Sunday. The Brazilian international has suffered a thigh injury according to a medical report released by the club and will be out for around 2-3 weeks.

It's another important loss for Ernesto Valverde as he prepares for the game against Betis. It's the last match before yet another international break and this means Coutinho will also miss the upcoming fixtures with Brazil.

The midfielder left the pitch against Inter Milan feeling some discomfort in his leg. However after undergoing tests at the club they've confirmed a more serious injury and he'll miss at least the next couple of weeks. This means that the objective is to get him back fit and available for the match against Atletico Madrid once LaLiga resumes again.
