Copa del Rey final will take place at Vicente Calderon

The Copa del Rey final will be played at the Vicente Calderon in Madrid, on Sunday May 22.

Barcelona take on Sevilla at Atletico Madrid's stadium, something decided by the board of the RFEF on Monday in Las ROzas, Madrid.

They decided the stadium would be ideal, with the Santiago Bernabeu unavailable, thanks to a Bruce Springsteen concert.

They hace picked the date knowing Sevilla may be in action on May 18, if they reach the Europa League final once again - they are reigning champions.

The stadium can fit 55,000 people but for security reasons the capacity for the final will likely be 52,000. Barcelona and Sevilla will meet next week with RFEF chiefs to arrange some of the finer details.
