Contact between Barcelona and Bernardeschi in Turin
The winger could be an option in the summer on a free transfer
Barcelona’s trip to Turin for the Golden Boy gala was useful for them in other ways, even beyond the Laporta meeting with Mino Raiola. They also met with Federico Bernardeschi’s people, with the Italian’s contract up in June.
The Juventus forward is of interest to Barcelona and Mateu Alemany spoke with his agent, Federico Pastorello. It was an informal encounter in which they did discuss the idea of Bernadeschi playing at Barcelona next season. It’s not the first time they’ve spoken about the 27 year old. Barcelona are looking at making one top signing in the summer and others at zero transfer cost.
Bernardeschi has not renewed his deal with the Old Lady. They want him to lower his salary and their stances are far apart. In Italy they say the player would like to renew. He left Raiola, who is close to Laporta, as an agent for Pastorello.
