The PSV winger has already scored 13 goals and set up 10 more this season

Cody Gakpo's future looks to lie away from PSV Eindhoven. The young Dutch sensation is ready to take the next step in his career and he looks set for the top. It was expected he would sign for Leeds United, but his brilliant start to the season is allowing him to dream bigger.

In 16 games, he has scored 13 goals and set up 10 more. They are impressive numbers for a 23-year-old. He averages a goal involvement every 56 minutes for his team and is hopeful of going to the World Cup next month as part of Louis van Gaal's Netherlands squad.

The winger had already announced himself last season with 21 goals and 15 assists in 47 appearances. Europe's big clubs are of course monitoring him. According to The Athletic and Sky Sports, clubs including Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid have all increased their interest. In fact, a winter window transfer is not ruled out.

After being involved in the UEFA Nations League in the summer and September, scoring two goals, his immediate goal is the World Cup. After that, there will be time to make a decision on his future.
