Clement Lenglet on his "good" performance and Arthur's golazo
The defender played his first game in a Barcelona shirt against Tottenham
Clement Lenglet had a good start to life at Barcelona against Tottenham with a 45 minute appearance showing a high level and rapid adaptation to Valverde's schemes. The Frenchman appeared happy after the game.
"I'm pleased because for two months I've been waiting to play again and this first win makes everyone happy and me too," said Lenglet.
"[My performance] was good but I can always improve. We will see in the future how to improve things but I think I was good. I haven't spoken to [Valverde] yet, he congratulated us for the win, that was it."
Lenglet said the most important thing was to win. "It's a first game where we are learning to play together. Many knew each other but for some of us we were playing our first game, we have to go bit by bit."
On Arthur he said: "He scored a crazy goal, a golazo which doesn't surprise me because he has a lot of quality. I hope he scores many more like that."
