Clement Lenglet believes Rabiot would be good Barcelona signing
He said that he would like to play beside his compatriot at Barcelona
Clement Lenglet spoke about a potential Barcelona signing at his presentation. The defender was enthusiastic about the idea of playing with Adrien Rabiot, the PSG midfielder at Barcelona.
"Rabiot is a very good player, I hope to play with him at Barca. It would be fantastic to play with him," said Lenglet. "I know him well becuse he's a friend of mine and let's see. Young players are ambitious and want to grow and win titles."
Lenglet and Rabiot have been pals since coming through the French youth international categories together, in almost all the teams until U21 level. Neither have broken into the first team though. They speak frequently so Lenglet will be up to date if Barca do move for him.
Barca have presented their interest to PSG but the French club don't want to talk about a deal. They aren't putting a price on a sale and hope to renew his deal next week. If he doesn't agree, then Barca will have a chance to sign him.
