The Dutch midfielder is also subject of a bid from Manchester United

Frenkie de Jong's future is further away from Barcelona with each passing day. Barça are open to bids and there is interest, with Chelsea joining Manchester United in the race for the midfielder as the two clubs also negotiate for Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso.

Chelsea are keen to sign De Jong and include the two full-backs in the deal. They have also asked about Memphis Depay in the past and there was also interest in Sergiño Dest in January, although their main objective is De Jong.

As revealed by Relevo and confirmed by SPORT, Chelsea want De Jong this summer and will push United for him. There is no agreement between Barça and United because Barça want over €80m.

Chelsea is a possibility because they would offer €60m plus Azpilicueta and Alonso. Barça have listened, but they would prefer cash at the moment.

The London club believe they can convince the player. Thomas Tuchel made contact with the player's camp weeks ago, but there has been no movement since then.

Tuchel believes living in London and playing Champions League football make Chelsea a more attractive proposal than Man United.
