Chelsea going for Barcelona right back Sergino Dest
The Blues want a versatile full-back and Barcelona would sell at the right price
Barcelona are working hard in the market. They want to sell players who won’t get many more minutes and are open to letting others go at the right price. One of those is Sergino Dest. The US right back was of interest to Bayern but it is Chelsea who are most interested in him now and they have asked after him.
The Blues have to remodel their defence next season and need a versatile full back. They believe Dest is a good market opportunity. Bayern were considering a loan and Atletico Madrid have some interest after Kieran Trippier’s departure.
The player would like to stay at Barcelona and win his place but Chelsea’s arrival on the scene is interesting.
Barcelona don’t want to sell him for less than 20m euros to recoup their investment. Some at the club believe it would be a mistake to sell him, although Xavi is not convinced.
