According to the Express the English and Italian sides would both like the Spanish midfielder

Denis Suarez has no place at Barcelona under Ernesto Valverde and rumours of his exit in the winter window are growing. If until now the offers have come only from Italy, the Express say that Chelsea have joined the race.

Italian coach Maurizio Sarri likes the Barca interior and wanted him for Napoli, but Denis decided to stay. Sarri, to suit his game, needs players capable of passing in small spaces and thinks Suarez fits the bill.

And while Milan want Denis on loan with an option to buy, Chelsea would be able to pay Barca up front. The Express say Barca like this a lot, which means they would rather sell to the English side.

Without knowing where, the thing that seems clear is that Suarez will go, in search of more minutes. He has played just 100 this season. 90 in the Copa del Rey, 10 in the Champions League against PSV.

Rafinha's injury might have opened a door for him at Barca but with Alena's promotion and Arturo Vidal looking for games, equally maybe not.
