The young central defender Chadi Riad made his debut in an official match for FC Barcelona's first team against Osasuna on Tuesday. The reserve team player entered the pitch in the 89th minute to replace Pedri.
Chadi Riad had previously entered two squads under Xavi Hernández, the Barça coach, but until now he had not had the opportunity to make his debut. The Moroccan youngster played for five minutes.
The B team centre-back had been an unused substitute gainst Almería and Celta in the league. At 19 years old, he already has three and a half years at the club.
