Celta Vigo want Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez on loan
Denis is from Vigo and played for the club's youth teams
Celta are also keen on signing Rafinha this month
Denis Suarez is a target for his hometown club Celta Vigo. The 23-year-old came through at the Galician club and is wanted by coach Juan Carlos Unzue this month. Celta's board have made an offer to take him on loan this month.
According to Radio Vigo, Celta used the Copa del Rey game on Thursday at Balaidos, a 1-1 draw which Denis played in, to make their offer to the Catalan club.
The arrival of Philippe Coutinho could have a knock on effect for Denis, who has not played regularly this season. The player, though, has always spoken of his desire to succeed at Camp Nou and has done well when given minutes by Ernesto Valverde.
His versatility, too, is something he has in his favour, while Celta have also asked about Rafinha. The Brazilian has just returned from a long-term injury and previously played on loan in Vigo when Luis Enrique was in charge of the La Liga club in 2013-14.
