CatRadio: Barcelona want to hand Munir a new contract
Barça are keen to give the forward new terms
He is doing well on loan with La Liga side Alaves
Barcelona plan to offer a contract renewal to Munir El Haddadi, who is currently on loan at La Liga side Alaves.
Munir, who is doing well at the Basque club, who are now coached by Abelardo, has a contract at Camp Nou until June 30, 2019.
Barça hope to extend that deal, though, according to a report on the show 'Club de la Mitjanit' on Catalunya Ràdio on Monday night.
The reason the club want to renew the forward is to have more power when it comes to selling him in the summer, freed from the pressure of him moving into the final year of his deal.
Munir is playing regularly at Alaves. On Sunday he played at Camp Nou as Barça had to come from behind to restore their 11 point lead at the top of the table.
