Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has named an experimental squad for Wednesday's Catalan Super Cup game against Girona, with Jean Clair Todibo in line to make his debut.

The French defender, who joined in January, has been included in a 19-man squad for the game in Sabadell between last season's highest La Liga finishers in Catalonia.

As well as Todibo, six other first team players have been called up: Jasper Cillessen, Jeison Murillo, Samuel Umtiti, Carles Aleñà, Malcom and Prince Boateng.

The rest of the squad is made up of Barça B players. Valverde has gone for Iñaki Peña, Wague, Guillem, Chumi, Miranda, Oriol Busquets, Monchu, Collado, Riqui Puig, Abel Ruiz, Mujica and Kike Saverio.

The game at Sabadell's Nova Creu Alta allows up to nine changes, as agreed between the clubs. As Barça will only have eight substitutes, he will be able to give minutes to everyone.

Barça -- playing against Espanyol usually -- have won the competition on two of the last three occasions.
