Carlo Ancelotti wants Jean-Clair Todibo at Everton
The Toffees want to reinforce the centre of defence before the window slams shut
Everton coach Carlo Ancelotti is interested in loaning Barcelona centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The manager of the Toffees has singled out the 20 year old as a potential target before the window shuts on October 5. The player would also like a move because he won't be getting game time at Barca this season.
Todibo played on loan at Schalke 04 last season. Although he started getting chances with the German club injuries stopped him from featuring as much as he would like, then the coronavirus pandemic began.
The Bundesliga club did not execute the option to sign him for 25m euros and Todibo rejoined Barca - then he got Covid-19 and had to sit out a couple of weeks.
Fulham have made an offer of 18m euros plus variables, while Napoli are also interested, along with Benfica in Portugal.
