Barcelona supporters were more than welcoming to the Man City players

Camp Nou once again showed off its fame as a gentleman's stadium. Faced with the visit of a team full of stars like Manchester City, the fans put on their best clothes to encourage their own, collaborate in the charity event organised with Juan Carlos Unzué to raise money for ALS and to show Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland that they have the doors open if they ever want to leave the cold of England.

From the warm-up, the Blaugrana fans applauded every time Bernardo came into contact with the ball, as well as when his name sounded over the public address system. The Portuguese, who has made it clear to City that his wish is to play for Barça, was welcomed by the more than 90,000 spectators who filled the stands of the old stadium.

Bernardo, however, was not the only one who was shown love by Camp Nou. Fans could also not hide their excitement at seeing one of the best strikers in the world in person: Erling Haaland. The supporters rewarded the Norwegian with a standing ovation when Pep Guardiola sent him to warm up on the touchline before taking to the pitch in the second half.

Haaland, who for months was the object of Joan Laporta's desire, reciprocated the signs of affection from the Barça fans with a wave and a clap. The Camp Nou's reaction, however, was not just a few cheers before he came, but more 'ooohs' and 'aaaaahs' each time he touched the ball with some danger.
