Busquets: We have the pleasure to see Messi day after day in training
Messi was the star of the show as Barca won a one-sided Catalan derby
Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets was satisified with his side's performance against Espanyol, a 4-0 Catalan derby win.
There was an exhibition from Lionel Messi, who scored two free kicks and was brilliant on the night.
"We were really effective in the first half, with a lot of success," Busquets said. "In the second half, at 0-3, we had control. It was easier."
On the first 45 minutes, he added that Espanyol "have a similar game plan to us, although they made some changes. It's true that we played great in the first half, winning balls from their midfiel and scoring great goals."
Messi was the star and Busquets said: "We have the pleasure to see Leo day after day in training. He practicies free kicks there and has tremendous efficiency.
"Leo's fundamental for us, whether he's taking free kicks of corners."
