Boateng: With my head in the right place I could have spent 10 years at Madrid
The Barça forward spoke to DAZN about his career
Kevin-Prince Boateng is a footballer but he's also an interesting person. He tells is how it is when he speaks to the media.
Boateng's played a background role since joining Barcelona on loan in January. He's made just two starts in La Liga and three in total under Ernesto Valverde.
However, the former Tottenham, Milan and Las Palmas forward has told DAZN that he would have had a better career at the top level if he'd received better advice when he was younger.
"I left it to late to understand that your head is fundamental," he said. "I regret that. It would have been good if someone, a family member or an agent, had advised me when I was 18.
"If I had made better decisions, I'm sure I would be a started at Barça or I would have played the last 10 years at Real Madrid or Manchester United."
Boateng's on loan from Sassuolo until the summer and is expected to return to the Italian side when his short-term deal expires at Camp Nou.
