Benfica to receive another five million euros from Barça for Semedo
According to A Bola, the money's due after he made his 50th Barcelona appearance
Barcelona right-back had a lively afternoon at Montilivi against Girona, scoring his first goal for the Blaugrana in the 2-0 win.
It was also a notable afternoon for his former club Benfica as he made his 50th happearance of more than 45 minutes for Barça, too.
According to A Bola, the fact he now played 45 plus minutes on 50 occasions means Benfica are due anotehr five million euros.
Barça signed Semedo for an initial 30 million in 2017, with a bonus of five million for said clause. The right-back, who has a contract until 2022, could earn the Portuguese another five million if makes 100 games playing over 45 minutes in those matches.
So far, Semedo has made 59 appearances in one and a half seasons at Camp Nou: 37 in LaLiga, 11 in the Champions League, nine in the Copa del Rey and two in the Supercopa de España.
