The full back is a potential option for the right back spot

FC Barcelona continue to scour the full-back market. In addition to the already known interest in Joao Cancelo and Juan Foyth (plus the names of Frimpong, Meunier, Mazraoui, Vanderson and Co.), a more 'unknown' name has joined the list, but one who is having a great season. It is the Danish defender Alexander Bah.

According to the Nordic media 'BT Sporten', the international full-back is on the list of Xavi and the technical team to reinforce a spot where Barcelona currently does not have a specific specialist player. This season, Koundé, Araujo and Sergi Roberto have alternated in the role. Also Alejandro Balde and Eric Garcia, in some sporadic moments.

Bah is the master of the right side of Roger Schmidt's Benfica defence. The German coach has faith in an attacking full-back profile. He has one goal and six assists in 39 official matches for the club. He is 25 years old and has a contract until 2027.

It is worth remembering that Barça were already interested in Benfica's other full-back, Alejandro Grimaldo. The La Masia-trained player's contract expires in 2023. In principle, his arrival would not be a priority, as the club considers that position to be more than covered.
