Bartomeu takes the reins in Neymar signing
The club tell the player they will make one last offer to sign him this summer
Barcelona are trying hard to sign Neymar back from PSG and president Josep Maria Bartomeu has taken the reins to make one final offer. They will make this movement this weekend and there is the chance of one more meeting with PSG to discuss the deal. Barcelona believe they can do it, despite how complicated the situation is.
PSG sporting director Leonardo and Eric Abidal have had various conversations in recent hours trying to find a valid formula. Sources close to the negotiation speak of small advancements, although the cost of the deal is still too high for Barcelona. PSG believe the deal can only be sealed if Dembele is included, but Barcelona are working on something else.
Bartomeu had decided to stand back a bit but now he wants to get invovled to try and seal the deal. Real Madrid are close too and entering into a battle would be too dangerous. There will be a final offer and perhaps a final trip to Paris.
Neymar and his people are informed of all movements through Barca's man in Brazil, Andre Cury. They have told the player they will do everything possible to sign him but he must push too.
