Bartomeu and Cerezo will meet to lower tension around Atletico-Barcelona
The presidents will speak to the media on Saturday before the directors' lunch
The objective is to lower the tension surrounding the game
The presidents of Barcelona and Atletico Madrid will meet to make a call for calm a few hours before the game on Saturday night at the Wanda Metropolitano. There is a lot of political tension around with the move for independence in Catalonia.
Enrique Cerezo, the Atletico chief, will meet opposite number Josep Maria Bartomeu before the traditional directors' lunch, and speak to the media, showing normalcy and cordiality.
Some Atletico fans are planning to come to the stadium with Spain flags to make a statement about the political situation. However Cerezo, speaking on Onda Cero, said: "What's happening on Saturday is not a political manifestation."
