The Blaugrana released a statement on Saturday evening

It listed six matters which the club felt needed clearing up

The soap operar continues in relation to Neymar's suspension. While Barcelona feel they have the right for the ban to be temporarily lifted while they wait for a resolution of their appeal, Spain's Court of Administration for Sport [TAD] have said the opposite in a statement on Saturday. Barça, though, responded with their own statement later in the day:

Barça wanted to clear up six things:

1. That they filed the appeal at 16.08 on Friday, within the 15-day deadline they had to do so.

2. That they're surprised TAD's statement talks about it being "common knowledge" their Friday meeting had finished when Barça submitted the appeal. They say TAD never notified the club at what time the meeting would be.

3. That they're also surprised the TAD statement says information from the RFEF's appeals committee is needed to resolve the case when they didn’t have that information available at Friday’s meeting anyway.

4. They also wanted to point out that, despite what the president writes in the TAD statement, the club requested TAD resolve the appeal and that, in the scenario that they confirms the player’s sanction, they

5. They then say it-s not true that Barcelona asked for an opinion on the availability of the player to play in the game against Real Madrid. What the TAD was asked to do is assess the appeal and, subsequently, declare the availability of the player to be picked on Sunday.

6. That is also seems surprising that the president of TAD, regardless of all the procedural formalities provided for in the rules,  is allowed to give an opinion on the advisability of decreasing or not a precautionary measure.

Barcelona finish by saying they will "continue to wait for the resolution of the appeal presented to TAD, assuming that the president will not participate in the deliberation not to predispose the resolution with the opinions he has already expressed publicly."

Surely it will not be until Sunday morning when Luis Enrique announces his squad that we know more now.
