Barcelona's plan in the final days of the transfer market
Barça are already clear about their transfer plan for the coming days and the main objective is to secure the registrations of Marcos Alonso, Iñaki Peña and Joao Cancelo before August 30. The club has focused all its efforts on these operations and will try not to reach the last day of the market with uncertainty.
At the moment it is not at all clear that any of the three will be available against Villarreal, but Barça are confident that they will all be available against Osasuna on 3 September.
The situation has not been easy, although Barça reckons that the 60 million euro income from Barça Vision's lever will be enough for the registration of these three players. In fact, the club already have an agreement in principle for Joao Cancelo and are ironing out the final details with Manchester City without haste, as it is unlikely that the player will be able to make his debut this weekend. The idea is to announce his signing before Friday, present him and give him his debut against Osasuna if Xavi thinks it appropriate.
