Barcelona's options to replace the injured Ansu Fati in attack

Barcelona have two weeks off before returning to competitive action against Atletico Madrid on Nov. 21. It will be their first game without Ansu Fati so coach Ronald Koeman has time to think about how he replace the teenager, who has been ruled out for four months. 

The young Barça star had made himself undroppable at the start of this season, along with Lionel Messi, and Koeman must now make advantage of his squad, which does have options in attack. 

Ansu has scored five goals and set up four more, just behind Lionel Messi, who has six goals and four assists. Ansu has stepped up in the absence of goals from Antoine Griezmann (two goals, one assist), although the Frenchman has scored in the last two league games and Koeman backs him for his hard work. 

WHO WILL COME IN?

Ansu has played in all 10 games under Koeman but not always in the same position. He has played on the left and through the middle, as he did in the Clasico. 

Ansu Fati:

Leo Messi:

• Games played: 10 (9 as a starter, 1 off the bench)
• Minutes: 854
• Goals: 6
• Assists: 4

Antoine Griezmann:

• Games played: 9 (8 as a starter, 1 off the bench)
• Minutes: 590
• Goals: 2
• Assists: 1

THE FIRST OPTION 

If Koeman sticks with Messi and Griezmann, the first option is Ousmane Dembele to open up the pitch. The Frenchman has done well in his recent performances and can play on the left or the right. 

Ousmane Dembélé:

• Games played: 8 (4 as a starter, 4 off the bench)
• Minutes: 324
• Goals: 3
• Assists: 1

If Dembele comes in, Pedri could stay on the left, with Dembele right and Messi and Griezmann through the middle. 

Koeman also has other options, such as Francisco Trincao. The Portugal forward started against Ferencvaros in the Champions League but the majority of hius minutes have come off the bench.

OTHER OPTIONS 

In theory, Martin Braithwaite is the player with the smallest chance of coming in. The Dane has made five appearances this season but has not yet started a game.

• Goals: 0
• Assists: 0

It doesn't seem like Konrad de la Fuente will come into the equation, considering he hasn't played since pre-season, although Koeman does like him. Koeman is also waiting for Coutinho to come back from injury, although he's mostly been used through the middle this season.
