The Brazilian scored the equaliser in Wednesday's Copa del Rey semifinal

Barcelona's Malcom was one of the stars of the Clasico Copa del Rey semifinal first leg on Wednesday, scoring the equaliser in a 1-1 draw at Camp Nou.

"I have watched my goal 100 times," the Brazilian confessed in an interview with radio station Cadena SER.

Malcom, once he knew he was going to be in the team for the game, received some advice from Messi, who was set to watch him from the bench. "He told me to be calm and I took that on board and played really well," he explained.

On his performance, he said he felt "really happy with how the game went and with the goal," which was his first in a game against Madrid.

He added: "It's always a difficult game against Madrid. It was a great game. We couldn't win as we wanted but we will give everything at the Bernabeu to get through [to the final]."

Malcom & Vinicius Jr.

On the similarities between him and Real Madrid's new sensation, Brazilian Vinicius Jr., Malcom said "he's very good, a great player with a lot of quality. I don't know who is better, we're both at the best teams in the world and we're both really good players."

Malcom said that "I can add a lot to Barça," even though he especially values sharing a dressing room with Messi: "I can always say to my kids and the kids of my kids that I played with the best player of all time."

With respect to a Neymar return, he said that "I was with him with the national team and he's a good person, one of the best players in the world, but we don't speak about him coming back in the dressing room."

Finally, on his future, he said: "I have four-and-a-half years on my contract. I want to succeed at Barça. I try to give everything to win trophies and to help the team. My future's something for my agents and they try to do the best for me and for them."
