Anthony Borges, 15, took five bullets while trying to help other students

Barcelona showed their charitable side on Thursday by sending Anthony Borges, who was gravely wounded during the school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Parkland, a signed shirt and inviting him to visit.

Anthony was shot five times in the back and his limbs as he helped 20 classmates get into a room while holding the door.

"Now in hospital recovering, one of Anthony’s greatest dreams has always been to travel to Barcelona and meet the first team players," said the club on its website. "And as the club told his father Royer on the phone this week, it would be more than happy to help with that."

The club also offered the help of its medical services to Borges. They have also publicised his father's go.fund.me page for medical help for his son. Over 600,000 dollars have been raised of the 700,000 goal.
