Sevilla want to finalise a loan deal as soon as possible

Barça want an obligatory option to buy included

Barcelona don't want to let their players leave at any cost and are demanding the best deals possible. With that in mind, Sevilla have had to up their offer for Aleix Vidal.

The La Liga club want Vidal on loan to the end of the season but Barça will only accept if they include an obligatory option to buy for eight million euros.

As things stand, that's the only thing holding up the completion of the operation.

Talks between the two clubs have advanced this week, although nothing is finalised. In fact, Vidal began Barça's game against Espanyol.

Sevilla have made it clear they're not in a position to make a permanent deal now but that in June they would be able to pay eight million.

Barça wanted more but would accept the offer if the option to buy is obligatory -- they would even allow the payments to be made in installments.

Vidal wants to remain in Spain if he leaves Barça and his happy to return to Sevilla, the club he joined the Catalans from in 2015.

There has also been interest from Napoli -- who also want Gerard Deulofeu -- Valencia and Atletico Madrid. In any case, there could be movement soon.
