Scouts will be in Logrono to watch the player for the Spain U21 side

In our Wednesday edition, SPORT advanced the news that FC Barcelona are following Dani Olmo very closely and are considering bringing him back to the club. And now, new information confirms Barça's intentions.

As SPORT has learned, FC Barcelona will have scouts in Logroño to watch him this evening. There, at 8pm in Las Gaunas, the Spanish Under-21 team’s match against Denmark will be played. Olmo is one of the players called up for this game and it is quite likely that he is in the starting lineup of Luis de la Fuente’s side.

It is another example of Barça's interest in this player who was in the club from 9 to 16 years of age, before he left for Dinamo Zagreb, where he has become a crucial piece of the puzzle. This has led to the Spanish Under-21 team calling him up, but also important clubs in Europe, like Manchester United, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund, to give some examples, being interested. Dinamo have received offers of up to 20 million euros for him, but it seems difficult for him to move for less than 25m.
