Barcelona will not play preseason game in China after all
The Catalan club will play in Japan but not in China anymore
Barcelona will not visit China this summer afterall. ESPN have revealed that the Blaugrana will only play in the Rakuten Cup, as announced recently by Eric Abidal on a trip to Japan.
Barça will play against Chelsea on July 23 in and then against Andres Iniesta and David Villa's Vissel Kobe on July 27. The club had then hoped to move on to China but that's now off the table.
Espanyol, though, will go to China, it seems, to play the International Super Cup. Pending official confirmation, they will be involverd in the competitionsn with PSG, Rennes and Inter.
The presence of Chinese striker Wu Lei is sure to make Espanyol's tour a successful one as they look to break into new markets.
