The club are trying to balance the books for the 18-19 season with sales

There is pressure at Barcelona to make 65 million euros in the next two weeks to balance the books for the 18-19 season. The plan is to get the players who Ernesto Valverde does not want for next season out of the door - although they know the bigger deals will take longer and may not be done until August.

The cases Barcelona want to resolve in the next fortnight are: Cillessen, Denis Suárez, Andre Gomes, Cucurella, Rafinha, Palencia, Ortola.

The big two are Gomes and Cillessen. The Portuguese midfielder was on loan at Everton and may stay at Goodison Park. Barca want 30m for him, but that is proving a barrier.

With Cillessen the situation is similar and it is Everton who are most strongly linked. Barcelona want a lot for Cillessen - his clause is 60m euros. The keeper has a contract until June 2021.

Denis failed on loan at Arsenal because of fitness problems but Valencia, Villarreal and Celta Vigo are interested in the Galician. He wants to leave the club.

Rafinha’s injuries have set him back too but, with his contract ending in 2020, Barca may look to renew him and loan him out or sell if they can.
