Digne starts instead of Alba but it will be the MSN in attack
Luis Enrique has once again turned down the chance to pick his Gala XI, replacing Jordi Alba with Lucas Digne.
With Andres Iniesta returning from injury, the Barça boss was expected to pick what has become his strongest possible line-up for the first time in a league game this season.
It’s a side which played in the Champions League game against Juventus, but it will not face Villarreal at Camp Nou.
Instead Digne comes in for Alba at left-back, with everything else as expected.
Barça XI: Ter Stegen, Sergi Roberto, Pique, Umtiti, Digne, Busquets, Rakitic, Iniesta, Messi, Suarez, Neymar.
Villarreal XI: Andres, Mario, Musacchio, Alvaro, Costa, Dos Santos, Rodrigo, Trigueros, Soriano, Bakambu, Soldado.
