The Catalans were alert to Los Blancos' defeat by Real Mallorca on Sunday
Real Madrid fell in battle at Son Moix, losing 1-0 against Mallorca. Barcelona must do their homework on Sunday night against Sevilla to go eight points clear.
Barcelona published a tweet in the afternoon which annoyed Madrid supporters.
It was a simple picture of Xavi grinning from ear to ear after taking a training session. A normal picture, but it was published a few minutes after Madrid’s defeat in Mallorca was confirmed.
Nacho’s own goal consigned Los Blancos to defeat, while Marco Asensio also missed a penalty.
