Barcelona are trying to sell Philippe Coutinho now, according to Catalunya Radio. They say that would give the club the money they need to sign a striker for Quique Setien to replace the injured Luis Suarez.
The Brazilian midfielder is on loan at Bayern Munich until the end of the season. The German club are paying his 8.5m euro salary. They have a 120m euro option to buy, but they will not at that price and have said as much.
Per Cat Radio Barcelona are looking for a buyer and Bayern are informed of the situation. Coutinho is not the only exit possible, with Ivan Rakitic also liked by several Italian teams.
