FC Barcelona have called an extraordinary board meeting for Monday at Camp Nou. The club made the announcement in an official statement, confirming it would take place on Oct. 2 at 12.15 and be headed by president Josep Maria Bartomeu.
While the club have not revealed the reason for the meeting, everything indicates that on the table will be the resignations of vice president Carles Vilarrubi and director Jordi Mones after they disagreed with the decision to play Sunday's game. There could also be more resignations.
Remember that after the decision to play the game against Las Palmas behind closed doors, Barça president Bartomeu said he was going to present a complaint to the Federation and La Liga.
At 16.00 local time, spokesman Josep Vives will appear in a press conference at Camp Nou to talk about the meeting.
