Xavi Hernandez has revealed Barcelona's plans ahead of the 2022-23 season, which will be the first preseason he has at the coach of the first team.
Barça confined on Monday that Xavi wants the players back in from their holidays on July 4, with medical tests penciled in for the morning and the first session of the campaign following in the afternoon.
The club's calendar for preseason is taking shape. In less than a month, the players will be back in training, with a trip to the United States on the horizon.
The team will travel to the States for friendlies against Inter Miami (Miami, July 19) and New York Red Bulls (July 30), with two more games to be scheduled in between.
It will be Barça's first trip to the U.S since 2019. Prior to that, they had been in America in 2011, 2015, 2017 and 2018 as well.
