Lucas Lima, the Brazilian Santos midfielder, has not yet signed his contract with the club despite promising to do so on Monday. The hours have passed and the deal is not yet signed, opening up the speculation about Barcelona's interest.
Santos are nervous that on June 30 next year Lucas Lima will be free to negotiate a free departure to any other club. Lima has been offered a deal until 2020. He has been linked with a move to Barcelona and would be free to negotiate a deal with the Catalans in January 2018 for a free summer switch.
