Barcelona striker Sergio Aguero deserves some respect, not a circus

There are some stories that move quicker than reality. It's impossible to determine whether Sergio Aguero will be able to continue playing football or not.

The Barcelona striker is being assessed over the next three months. He is undergoing treatment and regular tests and it will be the doctors, not the journalists, who mark the next step.

It's a serious case. There's no room for speculation or circuses. Aguero demands and deserves respect. And, above all, privacy.

Note:Aguero suffered chest pain in Barça's draw with Alaves on Oct. 30 and the resulting tests revealed a heart arrhythmia. Barça subsequently confirmed that he would require treatment for three months. That period comes to an end at the end of January, which is when more will be known about the severity of Aguero's condition.
