Barcelona squad for the Catalan Super Cup confirmed
Valverde's called up eight first team players for the game
McGuane and Ballou are among the B team players selected
Only eight first team players -- nine if you include Adrian Ortola, who's the third choice goalkeeper -- have been called up for Barcelona's Catalan Super Cup clash against Espanyol in Lleida on Wednesday.
Ernesto Valverde has called up 12 Barça B players for the game, including January signings Marcus McGuane and Ballou.
The first team players selected are those which haven't played as many minutes recently: Jasper Cillessen, Lucas Digne, Yerry Mina, Andre Gomes, Denis Suarez, Aleix Vidal, Ousmane Dembele and Paco Alcacer.

In total nine players with a first team registration and 11 from the second team. That doesn't comply with the competition's rules so there could be some controversy.
Remember, though, that some of the B team players, such as Carles Aleña and David Costas, have already played for the first team this season and, in the case of the latter, are registered for the Champions League.
